“It is disheartening to see public statements and claims of support for the gaming creator industry, while the reality behind the scenes is very different,” post ni Myrtle sa kanyang Facebook page nitong Agosto 27.

“We content creators and streamers do honest work. We invest our own time, resources, and effort into every project we do. We shoulder the costs of production teams, studio rentals, equipment, and editors, and we make sure that everyone who works with us is properly and promptly compensated.

“We show up. We deliver what was asked of us. Put in time, passion and effort into creating entertaining videos for the community. We fulfill our obligations, even when faced with urgent deadlines, last-minute changes, and challenging demands. We do our part, we honor our commitments, and we expect the same level of professionalism and accountability in return.

“Cut to over two years later—hindi pa rin kami bayad! After countless follow-ups, we still can’t get a clear, concrete answer on when or how these payments will actually be settled. Instead, we’ve been met with an endless cycle of excuses, delays, and accountability being passed from one person to another,” pahayag pa ng cosplayer.

“Saying that people have been ‘paid’? Talking about ‘accountability’ and ‘doing something about it’? Meanwhile, over two years na, may mga taong hindi pa rin nababayaran for work they delivered years ago… while everything continues to look clean and shiny for you on social media.

“You can say all the right things publicly, but ACTIONS will always speak LOUDER than simple PR statements,” matapang na pahayag pa ni Myrtle.

“Most companies make a statement to announce that they’ll take action. We decided to take action first and now we believe that this is the time to make a statement.

“We chose to stay silent not because we were running away from the company’s problems but because we chose to solve matters privately. To be transparent, the company went through multiple restructuring processes that resulted to a reduction in manpower that heavily affected our pace of working,” statement na inilabas ng Tier One sa FB page nito.

“Through the years, we have seen our gamers comeback from impossible odds, watch us make ours,” bahagi pa ng pahayag nito.

“The records show that payments have been made throughout the years, and payments will continue to be made.

“We respect everyone’s right to speak about their experiences and opinions. We remain committed to resolving legitimate outstanding obligations professionally,” ayon pa sa Tier One. (Jun Lopez)
