UP positibo, pupuwersa ng do-or-die kontra Ateneo

Hindi bumaba ang moral at tiwala pa rin si University of the Philippines head coach Bo Perasol sa kanilang tsansa kahit na naunahan sila ng Ateneo de Manila University sa finals ng UAAP Season 81 men’s basketball tournament.

Tinarak ng Blue Eagles ang unang panalo sa kanilang best-of-three finals series, 88-79, Sabado ng hapon sa Mall of Asia Arena.

“I’m still very positive about our chances, we need to do some preparation which we did not have in the last few days but I’m quite sure will be better on Wednesday,” wika ni Perasol.

“Before the series, everything was like, you have no match against them, you have to experience but they’ve shown that with a little quicking in defense and probably a little rest, they could give Ateneo their money’s worth,” dagdag nito.

“I told them we fought it out with a twice-to-beat disadvantage against Adamson why not do it again against Ateneo.”
