Kung ang iba ay nagpupunta sa ibang bansa upang magbakasyon at mag-relax, makabuluhan naman ang naging pagbisita ni BanKo Perlas spiker Nicole Tiamzon sa kanyang holiday trip sa bansang Kenya.
Sa kanyang Facebook post, ikwinento ni Tiamzon ang kanyang “One of the most unplanned and most memorable trip for me.”
“This is it. East Africa. First time to go to Africa. 16-18hrs travel back and forth and spent 6 days with the people there. I’ve met a lot of people. Went to their national parks, saw and experienced the nature that God has given us, tried eating local food and veggies, crashed a wedding and danced like a local.”
“Got a chance to teach some youth about Volleyball and talked about life with them. Went to a forest and walked for how many hours. Met some kids and got attached to them also. Went to a church, went to the market and finally went back on 24th before Christmas Eve,” saad ni Tiamzon.
Kwento nito, mapalad ito na nakapag-enjoy ito sa lugar at maipamahagi ang ilang parte ng kanyang buhay sa mga taga-roon.
“And I just really can’t explain my feelings and emotions on the way there, during and going back here in Manila. For me this is not just another vacation for me and having fun with yourself. I was really blessed by this trip because I got to enjoy, got to share my sport to the youth, got a chance to share the life in Manila and how God is working into my life everyday. Got a chance to reflect about the whole year.”
