“She’s a talented girl with a lot of heart and has the ability to confuse the enemy. In the finals match, she made the North Korean lass miss so many punches and delivered her own ones and twos to seal the deal,” wika ni Abnett.
Pinuri rin niya sina head coach Nolito Velasco at assistant Mitchel Martinez.
“They did a fantastic job,” dagdag ni Abnett.
Napabilib din si ABAP president at POC head Ricky Vargas sa husay at tagumpay na natamo ni Gabuco.
“She really deserves this win. She worked hard, focused and believed. She did it all. I’m so happy for her. Mabuhay ka, Josie!,” wika ni Vargas.
Samantala, silver medal naman ang nakamit ni Fil-Briton John Tupaz Marvin para sa light heavyweight division laban kay Bek Nurmaganbet ng Kazakhstan.
Podium finish rin si Ian Clark Bautista nang masungkit nito ang bronze medal sa Bantamweight division sa isang close split decision laban kay Mrazuzbek Mirzahalilov of Uzbekistan.
Bahagi rin si Gabuco ng national boxing team ng 15 years.
