Nagngitngit ang mga netizen sa isang learning module dahil sa pagtawag kay Angel Locsin na ‘obese’ o sobra ang timbang.
Sa naturang module, sinabi na, “Angel Locsin is an obese person. She, together with Coco Martin, eats fatty and sweet food in MANG INASAL fast food restaurant most of the time. In her house, she is always watching television and does not have any physical activities.”
Ang naturang pahayag ay makikita sa subject na PE and Health, at base sa nag-viral na larawan ay mula umano ito sa School Division ng Department of Education (DepEd) sa Occidental Mindoro.
Dahil dito’y maraming netizen ang nabastusan sa pag-fat shame sa aktres.

@DepEd_PH , do you really do your task to search why Angel gains weight? This is harsh. Kahit example lang. What if si Sec. Briones ay gawing example sa situation din? How will you feel?

Samantala, nag-deactivate na ng Facebook ang umano’y guro na gumawa ng module na si Keith Richard Firme.
Wala pang pahayag ang DepEd sa naturang isyu.
