Bayad ng P2,500 kada naapektuhang customer ang Maynilad dahil sa nangyaring water shortage sa Barangay Captain Albert Aguilar sa Las Piñas City.
Pinataw ang multa ng Metropolitan Waterworks and Sewerage Systems (MWSS) Board of Trustees dahil sa hindi pagsunod sa kanilang Service Obligations sa ilalim ng Concession Agreement.
“Based on the evidence gathered by the MWSS Regulatory Office, it was determined that AMynilad customers who were severely affected in the above mentioned area were deprived of water service with a minimum pressure of seven psi for a period of more than 15 days, which adversely affected the public health or welfare,” saad sa statement ng MWSS.
Ang P2,500 ay magsisilbing rebate sa mga naapektuhang customer na mararanasan sa mga susunod na bill.
“The MWSS RO will facilitate the implementation of the rebate to all affected customers as soon as possible and would like to assure the public that it is doing everything in its power to protect their interest.”
