Hindi natinag si Speaker Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo sa 19-percent trust rating na nakuha nito base sa pinakahuling resulta ng Pulse Asia survey.
Sa statement mula sa Office of the Speaker, sinabing pataas naman ang approval rating ni Arroyo at bumababa ang level of distrust.
Sa Pulse Asia survey na isinagawa noong March 2010 o tatlong buwan bago umalis si GMA bilang Presidente, nasa 14 percent lamang ang kanyang approval rating, may 27 percent na undecided at 59 percent disapproval.
Noong July 2010 Pulse Asia survey naman, nakakuha si Arroyo ng 16-percent approval rating na may 22 percent undecided at 62 percent disapproval.
“In the latest Pulse Asia survey, the first one after she left the presidency in June 2010, her Approval Rating went up to 19 percent with 37 percent Undecided and 43 percent with Small/No Trust,” saad sa statement.
Bagama’t hindi umano nagpapaapekto si GMA sa mga survey, itinuturing niya daw itong ‘snapshot’ ng sentimyento ng publiko.
“When she was president, she would not let surveys define her work. As Speaker, however, she remains focused and committed to what needs to done at the House of Representatives to carry out the legislative agenda of President Duterte,” ayon pa sa pahayag ng Office of the Speaker.
