Marami ang nadismaya sa naging resulta ng Miss International 2019 matapos hindi makakuha ng place si Atty. Bea Patricia ‘Patch’ Magtanong sa nasabing beauty pageant na ginanap sa Japan.
Ito’y matapos kasing marinig ang speech ni Patch tungkol sa women empowerment, tingin ng madla na for sure ay sa kanya na ang korona na huli pang napagwagian noong 2016 ni Kylie Versoza.
Ito ang naging buong sagot ni Patch:
“When I was younger, I found it strange that I was subjected to different standards as other boys my age. When I got older and even more so when I became a lawyer, I began to question these standards and challenge them. Why should women live in fear of harassment, violence, and discrimination when basic human decency calls for respect, tolerance, and compassion? To cheer all women means to support all women regardless of their race, religion, or background. But not only this. It also means to remove the barriers that prevent women from realizing their full potential. Miss International does this by fostering a global culture of women empowerment and gender equality. And, through this platform, we can ensure that no woman anytime, anywhere, is left behind.”
She totally deserve the crown, but i observed that the interpreter didn't make it to translate properly what patch said huhuhu im so upset https://t.co/KhN5YuRUmo

Oh, maybe the interpreter who translated her speech hurt her chances in bagging the title. Since Patch knew some Japanese words, she said there were some words from her speech na the interpreter was not able to say. ☹️ https://t.co/d157rQk1oT

An answer that has all of the content and tells women empowerment did jot even got a place. Interpreter sucks. Why stopped in some of her interpretation. That was sound meaningless. Patch should have been placed to the top 5! #MissInternational2019
