Nagkaroon ng additional screening schedule sa Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP) ang mga pelikulang “Liway” na pinagbibidahan ng Kapuso actress na si Glaiza de Castro at “ML” na pinagbibidahan naman ng veteran actor/director na si Eddie Garcia.
Sa kanilang Twitter page, ibinahagi ng Cinemalaya (@cinemalayaoffcl) ang ranking ng dawalang pelikulang humahatak ng audience sa CCP theaters at Ayala Malls cinemas.
Sa kanilang post, “LIWAY & #ML are two top-grossing films of #Cinemalaya2018! They will have additional screening this Sunday!”
Ang “Liway” at “ML” ay dalawa sa official entries sa on-going 14th Cinemalaya Philippine Independent Film Festival na magtatapos sa Sunday, August 12.
“Liway,” directed by Kip Oebanda, is based on a true story about a young mother with a mysterious past who uses storytelling to protect her child from the realities of growing up inside a prison camp during Martial Law, whereas, “ML” by Benedict Mique, a 90-minute suspense thriller. Sa logline sa brochure ng Cinemalaya 2018, it says, “A college student, his girlfriend, and best pal get more that what they have bargained for when they decide to learn about the dark days of Martial Law from an old retired soldier who may be one of its worst abusers.
