“I never considered Senator Lacson as part of the opposition. Because in major policies of Mister Duterte, ‘di ko naman siya nakita sa tabi ko nung nilalabanan ‘yung isyu na ‘yun,” saad ni Trillanes nang tanungin tungkol kay Lacson sa “The Chiefs” noong June 10.
“In fact, in most of them, andun siya. He was defending the Duterte policies. He may be criticizing every now and then some positions of Mr. Duterte, but in the major political battles we didn’t see him in our ranks,” dagdag niya.
“Personally I don’t consider him part of the opposition based on the definition I made earlier. But, hindi naman ako nagde-decide sa 1Sambayan. They have a probably a more liberal definition of what is anti-Duterte or the opposition. So they have every right to include him. Kasi kami when we subjected ourselves to be part of this coalition, we subordinated selves to their wisdom and to their decision and rules.
