Hindi magdadamot, Tim ipahihiram sina Greg, Scottie

ALL-IN si Ginebra coach Tim Cone sa pagpapahirap sa mga bataan niyang sina Scottie Thompson at Greg Slaughter sa Gilas Pilipinas na isasabak sa second round ng 2019 FIBA World Cup Asian Qualifiers.

“I’m really happy for Scottie, I hope they can figure out a way to put Greg out there,” ani Cone. “I think guys get better when they play international, so I think it will be a great confidence booster and great experience for those guys.”

“I’m all for it,” dagdag ni Cone.

“Greg and Scottie, they both know our system, we’re not gonna be doing anything revolutionary over the Gilas window, so I love the fact that they’re out there playing,” anang coach.

“Greg lends something to the National team that nobody else can, in terms of his size and his ability in the paint. June Mar comes as closest but he’s still doesn’t have the size of Greg,” pahabol ni Cone. “You bring a 7-footer out there, it’s intimidating in the international plays, I hope they both make it. If they want three or four more guys, I’d be happy to give them too.” ()
