Una, ayon sa Superficial Gazette sa Twitter, nanggaling umano ang pangalang “Pami” sa “pamilya,” na patungkol umano sa mga political dyansty sa gobyerno ng Pilipinas.
Ang hugis naman daw nito ay hinango sa mga lumalaganap na outbreak ng sakit sa bansa, gaya ng dengue, measles, at polio.
Nakiambag naman sa kakaibang kahulugan ang iba pang netizen.
