Guanzon nakiusap kay PNP chief Gamboa: ‘Wag pagtakpan ang pamamaril sa ex-soldier

Kung si Commission on Elections head Rowena Guanzon ang tatanungin, malinaw na hindi pasok sa self-defense ang ginawang pamamaril sa isang dating sundalo sa Quezon City noong Martes.

Ayon kay Guanzon, sinumang law student na pumanig na self-defense ang nasabing pangyayari ay hindi makakapasa sa Bar exams.

Saad ni Guanzon, na isa ring woman rights lawyer, base sa video ay hindi umano maituturing na ‘unlawful aggression’ ang ginawa ni retired Army Col. Winston Ragos, at hindi dapat binaril ng dalawang beses ni Master Police Sergeant Daniel Florendo.

“The video will be the best evidence. The deceased did not have a gun and did not point a gun at the policeman. That pulis should have been arrested or in custody immediately after he killed (Ragos),” saad ni Guanzon.

“First shot was murder, since no unlawful aggression sa part ni Winston Ragos.wala syang baril na tinutok kay Daniel Floredo,” aniya pa.

Nnawagan si Guanzon kay PNP chief Archie Gamboa na iwasan ang white wash o pagtakpan ang imbestigasyon sa nasabing insidente, at huwag kumampi kay Florendo.

“Let truth and justice prevail. The credibility of the PNP is at stake , it is more important that Sgt Florendo,” giit ni Guanzon.
