“Inasmuch as there had been concerns about my submitting the report, even if I voted for the main committee report of the Committee of the Whole, I’ve decided not to make that report today,” pahayag ni Gordon.
“I don’t want to divide the Senate and I want to make sure that at the proper time I can present the report in a less charged manner,” dagdag pa nito.
Ayon pa kay Gordon, ayaw niyang masira ang ginagawang pag-amiyenda sa report ng Committee of the Whole.
“I will temporarily refrain from making any report whatsoever that might be construed as colliding with the report. I know that there is no collision but I would like the work of the Senate President and all the members to be highlighted,” saad ng senador.
“This is not a question of sinong mas magaling, sinong mas mataas.
“Very good. We will await the actions to be taken by the gentleman,” sabi ni Sotto.
