“In the name of its ambitious mega-infra projects, the Duterte government is selling our islands like hot cakes to the Chinese gov’t to the tune of $167 billion and could balloon to $452 billion based on the pronouncements by Budget Secretary Benjamin Diokno last year. No wonder the Palace is not interested to enforce the tribunal decision as well as to condemn the continuing military build-up in the West Philippine Sea which the most recent was in the Kagitingan Reef also known as the Fiery Cross Reef,” pahayag ni Casilao.
“These set of islands in the WPS (West Philippine Sea) are clearly under our territory, we should assert our rights to use it freely, in our own term without external intervention and mostly hinders to harvest its resources,” giit pa ni Casilao.
