Walang urungan! Come rain or shine, ngayong gabi na (August 12) magaganap ang culminating activity ng 14th Cinemalaya Philippine Independent Film Festival.
Gaganapin sa Main Theater (Nicanor Abelardo Hall) ng Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP) ang awards night ng Cinemalaya 2018, ang kinikilala bilang premier at most prestigious indie film festival sa bansa.
Ten films under the Full-Length section are competing for the highly coveted Best Film, Jury Prize, People’s Choice at iba pa; sampu rin ang entry para naman sa Short Films category.
Films in competition are: “Distance” by Perci Intalan, “Kung Paano Hinintay Ang Dapithapon” by Carlo Enciso Catu, “Kuya Wes” by James Robin Mayo, “Liway” by Kip Oebanda, “Mamang” by Denise O’Hara, “ML” by Benedicto Mique, Jr., “Musmos Na Sumibol Sa Gubat Ng Digma” by Iar Lionel Arondaing, “Pan de Salawal” by Che Espiritu, “School Service” by Lagdameo Ignacio, at “The Lookout” by Afi Africa.
