“We would just like to highlight and emphasize po to our kababayans that these are projects that had zero allocation in the NEP. So kung hindi po natin nalagyan ngayon dito po sa BARSc, as in wala po talagang pondo for service contracting, walang pondo for the EDSA Busway, walang pondo para sa fuel transport subsidy,” sabi ni Nueva Ecija Rep. Mikaela Angela Suansing, chairperson ng House Committee on Appropriations.

“The BARSc recognizes the importance of these programs…Our colleagues in the minority and our partners in the civil society organizations were very vocal about this over the course of the plenary deliberations,” dagdag pa nito.

Maraming salamat po to our members in the BARSc that we’re all collectively in support of this,” dagdag ni Suansing. (Billy Begas)
