Hindi na gagawing testigo ng prosekusyon si dating Senador Antonio Trillanes IV sa impeachment trial ni Vice President Sara Duterte.
“The prosecution has finally decided not to present former senator Sonny Trillanes,” pahayag ni Lead prosecutor Rep. Gerville Luistro sa impeachment court nitong Huwebes, Oktubre 1.
“We seek the kind indulgence of the impeachment court for the belated final position on this particular concern,” dagdag niya.
Hindi naman ipinaliwanag ni Luistro kung tatanggalin sa listahan ng testigo ang pangalan ni Trillanes.
Noong Miyerkoles, sinabi ni Trillanes na marami siyang mabigat na ebidensiya na ilalaban laban sa Bise Presidente.
“Let the Senator-judges and the people decide whether these are significant or not,” sabi ni Trillanes sa X. (Dindo Matining)
