Pinili ni Jennylyn Mercado na huwag nang patulan o mag-react sa mga pahayag ng kanyang ex-boyfriend na si Patrick Garcia tungkol sa kanilang relasyon at hiwalayan, na halos dalawang dekada na ang nakalipas.
Sa pahayag ng Aguila Entertainment, talent agency ni Jennylyn, sinabi ng aktres na hindi siya magbibigay ng komento o panayam tungkol sa mga ibinahagi ni Patrick sa interview ni Ogie Diaz.
“Our artist, Jennylyn Mercado, will not comment or grant any interviews regarding Patrick Garcia’s statements on Ogie Diaz’s YouTube channel,” pahayag nito.
Ayon sa kampo ni Jennylyn, may karapatan ang bawat isa na ibahagi ang sariling kuwento sa anumang platform na nais nito.
“Everyone is entitled to share their story on whatever platform they choose. In this case, Jennylyn would rather not share her side of the story out of respect for the privacy and peace of mind of both her family and Patrick’s.”
Umapela rin si Jennylyn sa publiko na tigilan na ang pamba-bash sa pamilya ni Patrick.
