Kapwa ikinalungkot nina Concert King and Queen Martin Nievera at Pops Fernandez ang pagpanaw kamakailan ng kanilang close friend na si Susan Lim. Binalikan nila ang fondest memories nila sa naturang concert producer at nanawagan ng taimtim na dasal para sa kaluluwa nito.
Setyembre 17 nang ipaalam sa mga nakakikilala kay Susan ang pagpanaw nito sa edad na 57. Noong siya ay nabubuhay pa, naging tulay at producer si Susan para sa mga North American concert tour ng ilang sikat na personalidad sa PH entertainment industry.
May post naman si Pops tungkol nga sa pagpanaw ng kaniyang dear friend, na tinatawag niya umanong “Chinese Boss”.
“It took me a while to write this because, honestly, I’m still trying to understand what happened. Maybe this is my way of saying goodbye to a dear friend.
“I met Susan when she was fresh out of college. Even then, you could already see how much she loved what she did. Producing concerts wasn’t just her work—it was her passion. She had this incredible courage to take on things that seemed impossible, and somehow, she would make them happen,” ani Pops sa kanyang social media post nitong Setyembre 25.
Isa sa mga concert na na-produce ni Susan ay ang pagdalaw ng King of Pop na si Michael Jackson sa Pilipinas.
“Many may not know that it happened because of Susan. We all stood in the mud at the reclaimed area, where MOA now stands, just to witness the King of Pop. Looking back, that was so Susan—bold enough to dream big and crazy enough to actually make it happen,” kuwento pa ni Pops.
“From F4 (during the peak of the Meteor Garden), to bringing Filipino artists around the US, and recently the series of SexBomb concerts, Susan left her mark on the industry. But for me, her greatest legacy will always be the people she touched along the way,” aniya pa.
Sana raw ay mag-alay tayo ng dasal para kay Susan.
“Thank you, Chinese Boss, for everything. You will always be remembered, and you will always have a special place in our hearts,” pahayag pa ng Concert Queen.
Sa post na iyon ni Pops, nagbigay rin ng kanyang tribute kay Susan si Martin.
“I am so glad you posted this Pipay, cause I don’t see anything coming out and it’s really bothering me. Susan deserved better than this,” komento ng singer.
Idinetalye ni Martin kung sino si Susan sa mga taga-entertainment industry.
“She was one of a kind. And such a generous person. She also believed in both of us so much so that she helped revive our tandem and took us on a us tour. More than once if I am not mistaken,” aniya pa.
“What ever this is and how ever we got to this sad day I want to remember Susan as not a concert producer, but more as my dear friend I will miss very much.
“I pray she is at peace.
