Matatapos umano ang Commission on Audit (COA) sa pag-audit nito sa mga confidential fund ng Office of the Vice President (OVP) bago mag-Christmas.

Ito ang sinabi ni Senador Sonny Angara, budget sponsor ng ahensya, nang manghingi ng update si Senadora Risa Hontiveros tungkol sa status ng ginagawang pag-audit ng COA sa mga confidential fund ng OVP.

Ani Angara, on-going ang auditing pero sinabi aniya ng COA na matatapos na ito sa Disyembre dahil noon pang Oktubre 19, 2023 nakapagbigay ang OVP ng mga kaukulang dokumento.

“Still on-going, since apparently the OVP submitted documents last 19 October which are being processed by the commission,” lahad ni Angara.

“I believe in one month they will have completed it,” dagdag niya.

“So bago araw ng Pasko, may Christmas gift ang COA sa atin?” tanong ni Hontiveros.

“Yes, your honor, you could put it that way,” sagot naman ni Angara. (IS)
