Pinagtibay ng Kamara de Representantes ang resolusyon na pumupuri at kumikilala kay Mark Dave ‘Dobbermann’ Apolinario na nakasungkit ng IBO Flyweight World title.

Bibigyan ng Kamara ng kopya ng House Resolution 983 si Apolinario, ang unang Pilipino na nanalo ng IBO World Flyweight Title mula noong 2007.

“The House of Representatives, as the People’s House, gives due recognition to our Filipino athletes for bringing pride and glory to the Philippines through their exceptional talent, immense hard work, and love for the country,” sabi sa resolusyon.

Noong Hulyo 29, 2022, na-knockout ni Apolinario sa first-round ang South African three-division former world champion na si Gideon Buthelezi sa International Convention Centre sa East London, South Africa.
