Ayon sa panibagong survey ng Pulse Asia na kinomisyon ng tanggapan ni Senador Sherwin Gatchalian, sinabing karamihan umano sa mga Pilipino ay naniniwalang hindi mabuti para sa bansa ang POGO.
Isinagawa ang survey mula Nobyembre 27 hanggang Disyembre 1 ngunit inilabas lang ito ng senador ngayong Huwebes.
Mayroon itong 1,200 respondents – ibinunyag sa survey na 58% ng mga Pilipino ay naniniwalang masama ang POGO sa bansa.
“40% were “extremely harmful,” while 18% said these companies were “somewhat harmful,” ayon sa ulat ng Pulse Asia.
“Only 19% of the respondents said POGOs were beneficial, with just 3% saying they are “extremely beneficial,” while 17% said they were “somewhat beneficial,” dagdag pa nito.
20% sa mga Pilipino ay hindi naman alam kung nakakasama ba ito o nakakabuti sa bansa.
“Their operations are in the Philippines but their customers are outside the country, most of which are in China,” saad ng Pulse Asia.
“The survey results are an important piece of data that we will take into consideration as the data represents the sentiments of our people and provides relevant insights on the issue at hand,” pahayag ni Gatchalian.
Matatandaang sinabi ni Presidente Ferdinand Marcos Jr. na dapat bigyan siya ng mabuting dahilan upang ipagpatuloy ang operasyon sa bansa ng POGO. (Jan Terence)
