Natuwa ang Kapamilya host na si Vhong Navarro matapos ibasura ng korte ang apela ng modelong si Deniece Cornejo na kanselahin ang bail grant na nagbigay-daan sa kanya upang pansamantalang makalabas sa kulungan.

“Thanks God,” sambit umano ni Vhong sa kanyang lawyer na si Mariglen Abraham-Garduque nang malaman ang desisyon ng korte.

“We are very happy with the resolution of the court on the motion,” dagdag ni Abraham-Garduque.

Sa desisyon ng Taguig RTC Branch 69 kahapon, Enero 12, dinismiss nito ang inihaing motion for reconsideration ni Cornejo matapos malaman na naghain ng apela nang walang pag-apruba ng Taguig City Prosecutor’s Office.

“In this case, there is no conformity from the public prosecutor. This circumstance was not denied by the private respondent. Private respondent merely claimed that the Office of the Prosecutor did not object to the filing of the Motion to Reconsider,” saad ng korte.

Noong Disyembre 5, 2022, inaprubahan ng Taguig RTC Branch 69 ang petition for bail ni Navarro.

Napalaya siya mula sa Taguig City Jail Male Dormitory noong Disyembre 6 matapos magbigay ng piyansang P1 milyon. (IS)
