Hindi idedeklara ng Makati City bilang persona non grata si Gwyneth Anne Chua alyas Poblacion girl, ayon kay Mayor Abby Binay.

Gayunman, iminungkahi ni Binay sa mga establisyimento at mga indibidwal na hinawaan ni Chua ng COVID na sampahan ng kaso ang Poblacion girl, dahil sa paglusot nito sa quarantine para maki-party bago mag-pasko sa lungsod.

“It is a solicited advice to all those affected because of her, the businesses affected because of her, I suggest you file a civil case for damages,” wika ni Binay sa panayam ng ANC.

Ayon sa alkalde, isa sa mga naapektuhan sa pagsuway ni Chua ay ang bar na kanyang pinuntahan, kung saan apat na staff nito ang nagpositibo sa COVID.

“The bars at Poblacion specifically have been the most affected because of COVID. It is only that we were Alert Level 2 that they were able to open. For the last 2 years they were not allowed to open,” ani Binay. “They just started opening and this happens, and true enough, that was our biggest fear– that it will be a superspreader.”

“The level of persona non grata should be reserved for someone who really deserves it. She’s young, she’s callous, but she will have to suffer the consequences,” dagdag pa ng alkalde.

Gayundin, inihahanda na umano ng lokal na pamahalaan ng Makati ang pagsasampa ng reklamo sa Berjaya Hotel, ang hotel na hinayaan si Chua na lumabas kahit dapat pa itong sumailalim sa quarantine. (mjd)
