“Canada’s home to a dynamic community of over 837,000 people of Philippine origin. And across our country, Filipino-Canadians enrich our national fabric every single day. And throughout the month of June, we celebrate you and the important contributions you have made and continue to make to Canada, particularly in the fight against this global pandemic. We thank all those Filipinos working on the frontline,” wika ni Trudeau sa Facebook video ng Mabuhay Calgary, Hunyo 12.
“Unfortunately, there have been many incidents and acts of racism towards Canadians of Asian descent lately, including against Filipinos. This is unacceptable. Racism in any form has no place in Canada, and I want you to know that we stand with you. Have a wonderful month.
