Dahil sa lockdown: Marvin Agustin, mahusay na mag-bake

Sarado man ang mga pag-aari niyang restaurant dahil sa pandemic, nakahanap ng paraan si Marvin Agustin para magkaroon ng income.

Sa mga recipe online raw natuto si Marvin na mag-bake. “Some recipes and techniques, I found on Google,” aniya.

Kapag gumagawa raw siya ay pinamimigay lang niya ito sa kanyang mga kaibigan, na nagustuhan naman ang kanyang mga produkto.

Doon daw nagsimulang magdatingan ang mga order sa kanya.

“I made a series of batches and sent them to friends. They liked the products, until I was really satisfied. Then, the orders started coming,” sey ni Marvin.

Nagsimula siya sa banana bread at nang ma-bored na rito ay sinubukan naman niya ang carrot cake with walnuts, chocolate chips at cream cheese.

Pinaka-latest niyang produkto ay leches cake, na ginagawa niya lahat sa bahay niya sa Quezon City.

Kuwento pa ni Marvin, nang dagsain na siya ng mga order ay kinailangan na niyang kumuha ng baker.

“When I started, the first few orders were only 20, then 25. I’d be so happy with it. When the orders kept coming, I couldn’t handle them anymore. So I had to get someone.

“We had a baker then, but she had to leave and work for a cruise ship. Recently, she returned home because all the cruise ships were locked down. The cruise industry will not open again soon. I now have someone to help me with all the orders and deliveries. She stays here in the house. I cannot do all the orders alone. The orders increase every two days,” sambit ng aktor.
